In keeping with the requirements of Yoga Alliance-USA, 100-hour YTT program follows a tight schedule where almost each of the 7 to 8 training hours in the day are assigned to some aspect of yoga. You could find the training intensive but enlightening. Depending on the weather and season the mornings can begin as early as 6:00AM-7:00AM. with meditation followed by some yoga postures and maybe some classes or lectures in philosophy or anatomy. Chanting and pranayama are also part of the schedule. During training you are provided with two to three yoga meals, fruit refreshments and green tea. Daily written homework is also the norm as that is how you will gain in-depth knowledge of the subject. Sleeping early is encouraged as that is part of yogic practice.

ASANAS: Yogic postures comprise four hours of the daily schedule. Student will be introduced to the various asanas in a systematic manner with progressively increasing level of difficulty. Once the basic are mastered, asana flows, adjustments and subtle aspects of breath & awareness will be brought in to focus.

This topic will focus on introducing you to the basic philosophy, concepts and history of yoga. It will cover the various traditional philosophies and viewpoints, insights from modern research and ways in which the essence of this holistic life-view can be integrated into a modern lifestyle.
a) Yoga Sutras (Preface of Patanjali’s yoga Sutra): Study this important text based on the 8 limbs of Ashtanga Yoga. Discover the theory and foundations of yoga as Patanjali describes how to make a connection with the body, mind and spirit.
b) Kriya Yoga a methodology to overcome Panch-klesha (5 causes of pain and miseries)
c) Raj yoga and Hatha yoga

Paper 5 15 HRS
Practicing teaching with RYT/ERYT.
Karma yoga. Receiving/giving feedback.
Group teaching during class hours.Class Observation: You will observe a Class given by one of our experienced yoga teachers as inspiration for the class that you will then prepare.

Peer Teaching:
These sessions allow you to practice your teaching skills and get constructive feedback from both your Senior Teachers and your peers on your progress.
Lead Trainer expand at least 5 to 10 hours with all student in this topic during they practicing as a teacher.


Assessments will be based on written as well as practical evaluation.
» Student conduct will be a part of the assessment criterion.
» Evaluation will be carried out only for those students who have a minimum of 90% attendance.

The deposit submitted with the application is not refundable.
