Foreign students/guests must bring their original passport with a valid visa for India to cover the duration of their stay.
Check In-Out
All guests and visitors at Yoganandham, required to register at office upon arrival. Check-in time is after 2 PM and check-out is before 11:30 AM. Upon check out, please return keys to the Yoganandham office and settle any outstanding bills.
Donation
Donation at Yoganandham can be paid at Yoganandham Office between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For all programs guests are subject to the suggested donation in effect at the time of payment.
Personal cheques are not accepted for payment. Check Yoganandham office for methods of payment. Indian nationals may be asked to provide evidence of Indian nationality. Misrepresentation of information will result in liability to pay the full fee or dismissal from the course.

Day Off
Student/Guests may leave the Yoganandham School on the weekly day off. There are no lectures and coaching classes on the day off. Morning asana classes, and of course tea, brunch and dinner are still available.
Attendance
To maintain the spiritual purpose at Yoganandham Yoga School suggest all students are required to follow the entire ashram daily schedule. As a mark of respect for the teacher and as a practice of self-discipline, students/guests are required to be on time and to remain for the duration of each program. In the event that you need to be absent from any event or to leave the Ashram premises, permission should be obtained from the Ashram office.
Male-Female Relationship
Yoganandham suggests to all students and sadhaks to respect the local culture and the monastic tradition, kindly restrain expressions of affection such as hugging or kissing in public. Guests/Students are advised to observe celibacy (brahmacharya) as part of the spiritual discipline. Couples are not allowed to share rooms during Teachers Training Courses, Advanced Teacher Training Course, and Sadhana Intensive etc.
The Yoganandham Yoga school, India disapprove of and condemn any form of harassment directed at guests, staff or visitors. Specifically, no harassment, proposals or innuendos with a sexual connotation will be tolerated during any program or activity organized by the Ashrams. Guests/Students participating in such programs and activities are accordingly made aware of this policy and invited to apply it in their personal behaviour during their stay. Any guest who thinks he/she may be the victim of unsolicited advances or any other form of sexual harassment is asked to notify a seniorteacher,office or Director immediately in order for corrective action to be undertaken without delay.
Complaints made to a senior teacher, office or director will be treated confidentially and the alleged violator or any third party will not be advised of the complainant’s identify without the latter’s consent.

Yoganandham Yoag School does not allow Smoking, alcohol, drugs, meat, fish, eggs, garlic or onions . Pets are not allowed.
Mobile/cell phones are only permitted in designated areas outside of class times.

Accommodation
Yoganandham Rishikesh offers Ashram living accommodation.
• Shared rooms with Attached bathroomwith hot water.
• Single rooms with Attached bathroom with hot water.
Couples are not allowed to share twin rooms during Teachers Training Courses, Advanced Teacher Training Course, and Sadhana Intensive. For all accommodation 2 bed sheets, a pillow, a pillow case is provided.
Travel
By Air
There are daily Domestic flights into Dehradun From Delhi International Airport, From Dehradun Airport to Yoganandham 16 KM by road. You can take prepaid cab from outside the airport. We also have paid pickup facility from airport, for pickup facility you have to inform before travel to Yoganandham.
By Train
Haridwar is directly connected by rail to all main cities in India. When you reach Haridwar, buy a prepaid taxi from the stand at the entrance to the station. This will save you the trouble of negotiating a price with the driver. The bus station is situated across the street, where there is regular service to Rishikesh Bus Stand which are 4 KM Away from Yoganandham Ashram You are advised to book rail tickets as soon as possible. Trains are usually fully booked near the time of travel.
Train e-tickets can be booked up to three months in advance via the internet. Train information can be obtained via www.indianrail.gov.in. Credit card bookings can be made via www.irctc.co.in. For reserved tourist quota seats you will need to visit the railway reservations office.

By Bus
Rishikesh - Tapovan, where the Ashram is located, is 28 km from Haridwar. The Rishikesh Bus Station is located, is 5 km from the Yoganandham (A school for Yoga Learning). The bus for Rishikesh leaves from Haridwar every hours. You can also take Auto from the Rishikesh Bus Station to Yoganandham.

An independent travel agent visits the Ashram once a week. The travel agent can help you with your on-going travel arrangements, change foreign currency and cash travellers cheques. Valuables may be stored in the reception safe. Valuables are stored at your own risk. Do not leave valuables in the common space petty theft may occur.
